Day 1: Arrival in Delhi & Delhi Sightseeing

Highlights: Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate, Jama Masjid Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be greeted by a tour representative and transferred to your hotel. After freshening up, start your exploration of India’s vibrant capital with a visit to Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the tallest brick minaret in the world. Its intricate carvings and towering height make it an architectural wonder. Next, visit Humayun’s Tomb, another UNESCO site and a beautiful garden tomb that influenced the design of the Taj Mahal.

Continue your sightseeing with a stop at the iconic India Gate, a war memorial that honors Indian soldiers who died during World War I. Nearby, visit Rashtrapati Bhavan (President’s House) and drive past the grand government buildings of Lutyens’ Delhi. In the afternoon, head to Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, with its sprawling courtyard and impressive structure. Day 2: Delhi to Agra (230 km / 4 hours)

In the afternoon, visit the Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site that served as the residence of the Mughal emperors. The fort is a massive structure made of red sandstone and houses beautiful palaces, mosques, and audience halls. Explore its impressive architecture and learn about its historical significance. Day 3: Agra to Jaipur (240 km / 5 hours via Fatehpur Sikri)

Highlights: Fatehpur Sikri After breakfast, begin your journey to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, with a stop en route at Fatehpur Sikri, a deserted city built by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century. This UNESCO World Heritage site is an architectural marvel, showcasing a blend of Persian and Mughal styles. Visit the grand Buland Darwaza (Victory Gate), Jama Masjid, and the palace of Jodha Bai. Day 4: Jaipur Sightseeing & Departure

Highlights: Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, City Palace Begin your day in Jaipur with a visit to the majestic Amber Fort, located on a hilltop overlooking Maota Lake. The fort is a blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture and is known for its stunning palaces, courtyards, and the Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), where mirrors are intricately embedded into the walls. You can either walk up the hill or enjoy an elephant ride to the entrance of the fort.

On your way back to the city, stop at the iconic Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), a five-story structure with 953 small windows designed to allow the royal ladies to observe street festivities without being seen. Its unique façade is one of Jaipur’s most recognizable landmarks.

Next, visit the City Palace, the royal residence that now houses a museum showcasing royal artifacts, including clothing, weapons, and paintings. The architecture is a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Rajput styles. Afterward, visit the nearby Jantar Mantar, an 18th-century astronomical observatory with the world’s largest stone sundial.
