Day 1: Arrival in Haridwar – Sightseeing & Ganga Aarti

  • Morning – Arrival in Haridwar:
    Your journey begins with your arrival in Haridwar, either by train or road. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. After a brief rest, you’ll start your sightseeing tour of Haridwar, a city steeped in religious significance.
    You will visit the Mansa Devi Temple, located on the Bilwa Parvat. Accessible by cable car or a trek up the hill, this temple is dedicated to the goddess Mansa Devi, who is believed to grant the wishes of devotees. The panoramic view from the temple is breathtaking.

  • Afternoon – Visit to Chandi Devi Temple:
    In the afternoon, you will visit the Chandi Devi Temple, another famous hilltop shrine dedicated to Goddess Chandi. The temple, located on the Neel Parvat, can be reached by a cable car ride, which also offers stunning views of Haridwar and the Ganges.

  • Evening – Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri:

  • Late Morning – Laxman Jhula & Ram Jhula:
    After visiting Triveni Ghat, you’ll explore the famous Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula, two iconic suspension bridges that span the Ganges River. Walking across these bridges offers spectacular views of the river and the surrounding hills. You’ll also visit the nearby temples and ashrams, including the 13-storeyed Tera Manzil Temple, which is a prominent landmark in Rishikesh.

  • Afternoon – Visit Ashrams & Yoga Sessions:

Day 3: Excursion to Neelkanth Mahadev Temple – Return to Haridwar

  • Morning – Visit Neelkanth Mahadev Temple:
    After an early breakfast, you will embark on an excursion to the Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, located about 35 km from Rishikesh. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and holds great religious significance, especially because it is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva consumed the poison that turned his throat blue, hence the name Neelkanth (“blue throat”). The journey to the temple takes you through picturesque landscapes, forests, and scenic mountain views.

  • Late Morning – Explore the Temple and Surroundings:
    Once at the temple, you’ll have time to explore the shrine and the beautiful surroundings.     In the late afternoon, you will drive back to Haridwar. You will have some free time for final shopping or additional sightseeing in Haridwar before your departure.

  • Night – Departure:
    After a fulfilling three-day spiritual journey, you will be dropped off at the Haridwar train station or your hotel for onward travel.
