Day 1: Agra to Ayodhya – Explore Ayodhya

  • Morning – Departure from Agra to Ayodhya (400 km):
    Your journey begins with an early morning departure from Agra, driving toward Ayodhya, one of the seven most sacred cities in Hinduism. The 7-8 hour drive will take you through scenic countryside landscapes, offering glimpses of rural Uttar Pradesh.

  • Late Afternoon – Arrival in Ayodhya & Temple Visit:
    Upon arrival in Ayodhya, you will visit the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, the birthplace of Lord Rama. This temple holds immense religious significance as the site where Lord Rama, one of the most revered deities in Hinduism, was born. The newly constructed temple complex is grand and deeply spiritual, attracting millions of devotees from around the world.

    After visiting Ram Janmabhoomi, you will explore other important temples in Ayodhya, such as the Kanak Bhawan, a temple dedicated to Lord Rama and Goddess Sita, and Hanuman Garhi, a popular temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman located on a hilltop.

  • Evening – Aarti & Overnight Stay in Ayodhya:

Day 2: Ayodhya to Prayagraj – Triveni Sangam and Temple Tour

  • Morning – Drive from Ayodhya to Prayagraj (170 km):
    After breakfast, you will embark on a 3-4 hour drive to Prayagraj, a city with deep religious and historical significance. Prayagraj is home to the Triveni Sangam, the confluence of three sacred rivers: the Ganges, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati.

  • Late Morning – Visit Triveni Sangam:
    Upon arrival, you will visit the Triveni Sangam, where pilgrims gather to take a holy dip in the confluence of the rivers. It is believed that bathing here washes away sins and grants salvation. You can take a boat ride to the exact point where the rivers meet and offer prayers and rituals.

  • Afternoon – Visit Anand Bhavan & Other Temples:
    After visiting the Sangam, you will explore Anand Bhavan, the ancestral home of the Nehru-Gandhi family, which has now been converted into a museum. Later, visit important temples like the Allahabad Fort, Hanuman Temple, and Alopi Devi Temple.

Day 3: Prayagraj to Varanasi – Explore Varanasi & Sarnath

    After breakfast, you will drive to Varanasi, one of the oldest cities in the world and the spiritual capital of India. Varanasi is situated on the banks of the Ganges River and is known for its ghats, temples, and spiritual ambiance.

  • Late Morning – Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple & Annapurna Temple:
    Upon arrival in Varanasi, you will visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the most famous temples in India dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is a significant pilgrimage site for Hindus and is believed to be one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, the holiest shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva. Nearby, you’ll also visit the Annapurna Temple, dedicated to the goddess of food and nourishment.

  • Afternoon – Sarnath Excursion:
    In the afternoon, you will visit Sarnath, located about 10 km from Varanasi.   • Late Morning – Visit Ram Ghat and Kamadgiri:
    Upon arrival in Chitrakoot, you will visit Ram Ghat, a sacred riverbank on the Mandakini River, where Lord Rama is said to have bathed. Devotees take a holy dip in the river here and offer prayers. You will also visit Kamadgiri, a forested hill that is believed to be the heart of Chitrakoot. Devotees often circumambulate the hill as part of their pilgrimage.

  • Afternoon – Visit Bharat Milap Temple & Hanuman Dhara:
    After visiting Ram Ghat, you will explore the Bharat Milap Temple, which commemorates the emotional meeting between Lord Rama and his brother Bharat during their exile. You will also visit Hanuman Dhara, a temple located atop a hill, dedicated to Lord Hanuman. From the temple, you will enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding hills and forests.
